Paint.net is a free graphics editing software programme to give your photos etc a professional touch.
It has a wide range of plugins, filters and effects found in more powerful 'paid for' software packages but in contrast to many of these packages is very straightforward and user friendly. It has 'layering' capabilites and an exciting effect for card makers is the ability it has using the 'outline' effect to take an image and empty the elements of colour so that only the outline of it remains-great for making those digital stamps!
